KSSS 2026 Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts for oral or e-Poster presentations in professional areas related to spine research and evidence-based spine surgery. We especially welcome abstracts that explore diversity in reviews and include analyses from varied perspectives. We look forward to your participation and interest. All abstracts must be submitted online via the “Abstract Submission” system on the KSSS 2026 website. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee.

Presentation Type: Oral, e-Poster, Either

Please select your preferred presentation type: oral presentation, e-Poster presentation, or either (oral or e-Poster) when submitting your abstract. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee, which will make the final decision on the presentation type based on the review results and the overall balance of the scientific program.

Rules of Abstract Submission

● Complete all required fields accurately. Submitters are responsible for any errors, which may result in exclusion from the review process.

● All abstracts must be written in English and include: Purpose, Materials & Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Keywords.

● Abstracts are limited to 400 words. Figures, tables, graphs, and images are not allowed.

● If an author is affiliated with both a university and its affiliated hospital, please indicate the hospital as your primary affiliation.

Submission Instruction

● Step 1: Prepare your abstract(s)

→ The abstract must be written and presented in English.
→ Include correct author information and email addresses.
→ Limit: up to 400 words. Graphics, figures, and tables are not allowed.

● Step 2: Submit online

→ Sign in to the official website (www.ksss2026.org).
→ Click the “Abstract Submission” menu under "Call for Abstracts."
→ Please use the same account for both registration and abstract submission.

● Step 3: Confirm submission

→ After submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation email.
→ If you do not receive a confirmation within 5 business days, contact the program secretariat at program@ksss2026.org.

Confirmation of Abstract Submission

● Confirmation email

An automatic acknowledgment of submission will be sent to the submitter by email upon completion of the submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 5 business days, please contact program@ksss2026.org.

● Abstract Modification

You may review, modify, or update your abstract(s) through “My Page” on the KSSS 2026 website. The modification deadline is the same as the abstract submission deadline. It is the submitter’s responsibility to verify the acknowledgment and carefully review the submitted abstract for any errors or illegible characters.

Notification of Abstract Acceptance

● Acceptance notification will be sent to submitters on February 20, 2026.

● After acceptance, the presenter must complete pre-registration process, including full payment of the registration fee by March 17, 2026. Please note that failure to meet this deadline will result in withdrawal of the abstract from the final program.

● Please submit your PowerPoint file through the “Oral Presentation Submission” page or “e-Poster Submission” page on the KSSS 2026 website.

● The Secretariat will use the personal information collected during the abstract submission process solely for communication purposes related to the review and acceptance of abstracts.
